We had a great tour in Tucson with Sandra. She has a wealth of knowledge about Tucson history and great restaurants and shops. We sampled a variety of local foods. Everything was delicious. The Sonoran hot dog, the burger and fries at Hub were the stand outs of the tour. Highly recommend Secret Food tours and Sandra!

Steve's organization skills are perfect for his role. He respected the time and group energy and capacity to walk in heat. He mixed food and drink sampling to keep us interested and hydrated. Steve talked about the dishes and locations as well as relevant history and culture. We appreciated the ride on the tram to shorten the walking distance in the heat. All six dishes - food and drink - were great. The Sonora hotdog was amazing, the burger was outstanding, the tea shop had a lovely variety of refreshing tea blends. Finishing with ice cream was perfect. Don't have a heavy breakfast before this tour or you might not be able to sample everything.

Ellie was the best! Full of energy and knowledge about Tucson’s food history and food scene. She had many great recommendations about other places to eat besides the places that we visited. She is from Tucson and shares many bits of information about the city while walking to the different restaurants. We went to places deeply rooted in Tucson trying local favorites. Our portions were larger than most food tours. There’s also a drink option but this wasn’t offered on Tripadvisor when I booked. I suggest calling the company if you want to add that. You get two drinks I don’t know how much it costs.

I'm so glad we took the Secret Food Tour of Tucson with Steve as our tour guide. Since we only had a few days, we never would have had the chance to experience all the different places that we visited on the tour, and we got the 'lay of the land'. The food was outstanding and just the right amount. Steve even took us on the free streetcar that we knew nothing about. Steve is knowledgeable, very friendly and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour!!!
