What To Expect
Jet d'Eau
After leaving de Mont-Blanc pier, the boat will make a short stop at the Jardin-Anglais pier . You will pass the Pierre du Niton and the famous Geneva water fountain and leave the harbour area.
Palais des Nations
You will now sail along the shores of Lake Geneva with a great view on the residences of many famous personalities. You will also see the United Nations Offices of Geneva and many International Organisations.

3.00The boat ride said there was an audio tour. While the view was nice there was no audio tour. I wouldn’t have paid what I did had I know that there wasn’t any description of what we were seeing along the lake

3.00The paddle steamer was amazingly restored and it was great to see Geneva from the lake. Unfortunately while there was a bar on the boat there were no drinks available and the audio wasn’t available so we never got to know anything about the city and the surroundings towns. Still a nice way to spend an hour

3.00This was a sweet way to see Geneva. You have to download the app and bring headphones to listen to the audio guide but it was informative and a fun way to spend an hour, especially on a rainy day.

3.00Went on the CGN operated ‘Geneva Tour’ cruise. It’s a 1 hour loop tour. Some of the advantages: Ticket included in Geneva City Pass so no extra cost. Plenty of capacity but seating was probably 80% occupied. Boat left on time (but took 10 mins extra to dock for some reason which meant we missed a connection). You should note operating hours in October are very limited. Issues: We had the same problems as most re the audio. We got the instruction of how to connect to WiFi. As a visitor from EU I had no data roaming included for Switzerland, so was dependent on WiFi. But I could not connect. However my wife could and managed to download the App. But when the boat left the App immediately required an update only available via WiFi which was not available for the entire boat journey. For either of us. So no audio unless you had full data roaming via mobile networks. I think the WiFi was only available from the sales office location and not on the boat. I would not do this tour again unless I was guaranteed audio.

4.00Great experience but the audio never happened. Apparently you have to download before getting on the boat. I never received any instructions to my knowledge about this. The trip was great but we had no idea what we were looking at.

4.00Very relaxing hour on Lake Geneva. It was £19 each, but if you have a Geneva Pass then it would be free. It was easy to book at ticket at the Mont Blanc pier. We went on one of the hottest days of the year and inside was a lovely temperature. It was a very smooth ride and very relaxing. We were sort of expecting some sort of audio guide, but there wasn't anything on our trip.
