Akiko and Taka are just super nice people. The tour started with pick up at the train and bus walking to the nice little factory. It was really great to see how the ramen noodles are made, plus the different varieties. Then freely choose which noodles you want for dinner which are then made extra. Cooking and eating together with Akiko, eating ingenious food, a lot of fun cooking just ingenious.

We were lucky enough to try this wonderful experience. Akiko welcomed us warmly first in the family factory where he introduced us to his brother Taka, a wonderful and very kind person, then later welcomed us into his house where he taught us all the secrets to create a great Ramen and excellent Gyoza. In addition, at his home we had the opportunity to meet his son and his beautiful dogs and to fully immerse ourselves in Japanese culture. I am not such an easy person because unfortunately I suffer from many food allergies but Akiko was super caring and took care of preparing everything excluding foods harmful to me. I can't say anything but WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! VOTE 10/10. Thank you Akiko❤️

A very special Ramen experience - visit Ramen noodle factory, know how variety of Ramen noodle exists, create my unique Ramen noodle, then experience Ramen soup making, Gyoza making and salad dressing making. Akiko is always warm, easy to talk, speaks very fluent English. Ramen and Gyoza we together cooked was super yummy. Akiko's family and dogs also welcomed us, which is really warm and hearty. For anyone who is curious about Ramen and want to experience atmosphere of ordinary Japanese lives, this tour is really worth to recommend!

Excellent for the entire visit. Its difficult to put into words how amazing this experience was. During the tour it felt like I've been a friend of Akiko for years. Her and her family are so cordial and I am extremely grateful they have opened up their ramen factory and home to visitors. Truly an amazing experience I'll carry with me for my whole life.

Thank you so much for all the experience and heartwarming hospitality during the tour. I did enjoy learning so many things about ramen noodles from the variety to its making process. Letting us choose the type of noodles and thickness was such an extra touch. And I also had a great time being in the house with your family while enjoying wonderful dinner (not only ramen but salad, gyoza dumpling and a dessert). I strongly recommend this tour to my friends.

A truly marvellous experience. The 1st part was both educational and fun learning from a long standing artisanal noodle maker about the various noodles types, the differences, how they are made (you even make your own noodles for the subsequent meal 👍). This was then followed by wonderful evening with Akiko and her family at home making Gyoza, ramen etc and enjoying a meal together. A truly magical experience I would recommend to everyone

I had an absolutely fantastic time at Akiko san’s ramen experience! The entire tour was incredibly lovingly designed; from visiting her brother Taka-san's traditional ramen noodle factory to cooking together at her home. The warmth and hospitality of Akiko and her family were outstanding, and you feel welcome and part of the family from the first moment. The combination of culture, culinary art and real personal insights makes this experience very special. My son (4 years) had so much fun. I was skeptical at first if this experience was for him. However, everything was very child-friendly, so my son could also help. For families I can only recommend it. Akiko explains everything in a friendly and understandable way (in English and Japanese), and every step has been shared with so much passion and joy — that makes this experience truly unique and unforgettable.

This was one of the best tours we have done in a long time. The Tour Operator is a very kind lady and she takes all of us to her brother’s wonderful and very cute noodle factory just outside Yokohama. The entire process of understanding how noodles are made and then later on enjoying the meal with family of Akiko is unique. Akiko takes you to her wonderful home for dinner and meet her family. There are nice touches to the entire experience and you come back contended and happy. The 4-5 hours you spend with the family during the tour are highly personalized and zip by fairly quickly. A little effort might have to be made to go from Tokyo to Yokohama and then a very small bus or train trip to reach the town where the noodle factory is located, however, believe us, it’ll be absolutely worth your time for an unrivaled experience that creates wonderful memories for life.
