The bus tour was well worth it!!! We were able to gain extra knowledge when we were moving through the battlefields that we would not get in the self guided tours in half the time! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and even answered some of questions and other points of interest when we got off the bus at various stops along the way!!!

Very knowledgeable tour guide and safe driver. We took a 2 hour tour through the battlefield, were given opportunities to get off of the bus and take pictures and had a mid-way bathroom break as well.

The information provided on the tour was remarkable and it was a minute by minute explanation of what was happening. You felt like you were right there and you could see it…absolutely could visualize it. The tour guide put you right at the battles with his knowledge, description and inflected voice. The negative of the experience was the bus arrived 15 minutes late and then we had to go and pick up another group of passengers….presumably late for them as well. Granted it was February and there was snow on the ground but the bus did not stop for us to walk around as indicated in their tour description even though I had been out walking on the battlefields earlier on my own. The bus did stop, however, so that we could change drivers. We arrived back exactly 2 hrs from when our pick up time should have been…no extra time added for the delay. I paid for a 2 hr tour and certainly did not get one.

It helps to know a little history first. I was a little lost at times but it was super informative and I will be looking into this once I get back home!
